TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS

Sometimes all it takes to change a life is a little support. We want to help set the foundation and prepare our youth for life long learning.   We create spaces for teens and young adults get the skills and confidence needed to work towards achieving their educational, professional and personal goals.

PerMission LLC works to build a community where young people can actively engage in constructive endeavors that result in positive futures. Risers creates a space where youth can safely explore all facets of their lives, including interpersonal communication, self-awareness, economic security, and civic engagement. It also allows them to share, inspire others, gain confidence, and emerge as valued members of their communities.

COLLEGE TO CAREER READINESS

Every little bit counts towards paving the path for a better tomorrow. All students should graduate from high school prepared to pursue the future of their choosing. College and career readiness refers to the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to be successful in postsecondary education and/or training that lead to gainful employment.

WORK READINESS PROGRAM

In 2021, we performed a six-week Work Readiness and Growth Industry program serving DC's Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program participants during the summer of 2021.  We worked with 70 District youth, ages 14 to 21, to provide high quality, structured workforce development trainings geared to prepare youth for purposeful and developmentally appropriate employment and career exploration opportunities.
