Black women in the United States historically and continually have to overcome extreme hardships. They often have to endure unthinkable bouts of trauma due to their perceived subordinate racial and gender statuses. This discussion will focus on those distinct set of dilemmas black women and girls have to face while navigating adversities associated with entangled systems of oppression.
